This easy-to-use flake type Hayashi Roux Shitsujyun is made by carefully cooking flour and lard on the stove top until brown, and blending vegetables and fruits. The umami of fully ripened tomatoes, sauteed onions, and beef is combined with the richness of red wine to create a delicious demi-glace sauce.
How to use
Use thinly sliced beef and lightly stir-fry. Add sliced onion and stir-fry until they become transparent. Add water or soup stock, bring to the boil then simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and dissolve a bag (1kg) of this product, then stew for a further 10 minutes on a low heat.
